ADC Memorial congratulates the colleagues on receiving the Nobel Peace Prize<\/a> – the Belarusian human rights defender, founder and head of the Center “Viasna”<\/a> Ales Bialiatski (imprisoned for his human rights work in Belarus), the Russian human rights society Memorial<\/a> and the whole Memorial movement, and the Ukrainian Center for Civil Liberties<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This award is a well-deserved and really just, it symbolically unites those who have been fighting against the crimes of the Russian and Belarusian regimes, those who are heroically fighting now for freedom and independence of Ukraine, opposing war, violence, human rights violations.<\/p>\n
