She left Russia in December 2025 after the searches and arrests of activists involved in defending the rights of Indigenous peoples.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Yana Tannagasheva<\/strong>, representative of the Shor Indigenous people, activist of the International Committee of Indigenous Peoples of Russia (<a href=\"https:\/\/icipr.international\/\">ICIPR<\/a>). She was forced to leave Russia in 2018 because of the pressure and repression she faced.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nikita Bulanin<\/strong>, an expert of the International Working Group for Indigenous Affairs (<a href=\"https:\/\/iwgia.org\/en\/\">IWGIA<\/a>), he is a team member for both Land Defence and Defenders program, and Territorial Governance program.
