On the eve of World Children\u2019s Day, marked on 20 November, ADC Memorial Brussels and Member of the European Parliament Rasa Juknevi\u010dien\u0117 are co-organising a roundtable on the violations of Ukrainian children\u2019s rights resulting from Russia\u2019s war of aggression against Ukraine. The event will take place at the European Parliament in Brussels and will also be streamed online. Prior registration is required for both in-person and online participation.<\/strong><\/p>\n Date:<\/strong> Thursday, 19 November 2026 Russia\u2019s unprovoked and unjustified war of aggression continues to deprive thousands of Ukrainian children of their childhood, identity and fundamental rights. Drawing on first-hand testimonies and expert perspectives, the roundtable will examine the different ways in which the aggression affects Ukrainian children, including violations of the right to life, forced deportation, indoctrination and militarisation.<\/p>\n The discussion will address the situation of children in the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine and the role of the European Union in protecting them, securing the return of deported children and ensuring accountability for those responsible.<\/p>\n Speakers:<\/strong><\/p>\n The speakers\u2019 interventions will be followed by a question-and-answer session.<\/p>\n
