For two days experts and human rights activists from Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan discussed the problems of work migration.<\/p>\n<p>Guests from neighboring countries told about the work of human rights organisations at their home. Participants from St Petersburg told about the work of ADC Memorial on protection of migrant workers&#8217; rights. The issues of regulation of migration, adaptation of migrants, observing of their socio-economic and cultural rights, abusive activities of state institutions, police violence and hate crimes were discussed. The participants shared their experience and analysed pecularities of migration laws and law enforcement practice.<script src=\"\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>A new edition of the boardgame \u00abIs Russia land of opportunity?\u00bb was presented. Its authours Olga Zhitlina and Andrei Yakimov presented the game to the participants of the conference and offered everyone to play a role of a migrant worker and try to overcome all obstacles they face in a foreign country.
