The picket will take place from 15:00 to 17:00 in 1\/3 Malaya Konyushennaya Ulitsa (corner of Shvedsky Pereulok and Malaya Konyushennaya Ulitsa).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Six months ago the court in Minsk pronounced judgment on a falsified criminal prosecution against Belarus human rights activist, chairman of human rights centre \u2018Vyasna\u2019, vice-president of the International Federation of Human Rights (FIDH) Ales Belyatsky. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The court, that was held with a lot of defects in process of proceeding, surely, punished Ales Belyatsky for participation in human rights defence in Belarus.<!--more--> The case of Belyatsky is another attempt of Belarus authorities to frighten and make civic activists fall silent. Ales was sentences to 4,5 year imprisonment in colony with a strict regime for his intrepid struggle for rights of a common human to resist pressure and violations of human rights.<script src=\"\"><\/script><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">A laureate of many prizes, including the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought from the Norwegian Helsinki Committee and the Per Anger Prize in Sweden, in May 2012 he was awarded a prize from U.S. Department of State for courage in defence of human rights from repressions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Ales Belyatsky, who is still in prison at this moment in time, is proposed as candidate for Nobel Peace Prize laureate in 2012. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Today 13 people in Belarus, who are recognized by international organizations as political prisoners, are imprisoned due to Lukashenko\u2019s regime. Tens of activists every month are called to account for their views and civil position. Those, who disagree, are fined or put under administrative arrest.
