Discussion in “Family” regional center

On May 31 regional center “Family” hosted a lecture “Overcoming discrimination of labor migrants in Russia: current issues and anatomy
of the problem”. During the lecture and the discussion that followed various discriminatory factors that have impact on labor migrants in
Russia were discussed. An interactive game “Russia – the country of possibilities?” was used as an educational aid in order to provide the
participants with a possibility to understand the problems of migrants from within, while everybody was able to find himself in the shoes of a foreign labor migrant. ADC “Memorial” hopes that this experience and knowledge received during the interactive game will be of help and will assist migrants and members of their families in their daily lives.
