Feedback On February 9, 2012, a Roma Children’s Dancing Group, the “Red Rose”, once again was awarded with the honorary title “Exemplary Group.” ADC “Memorial” has been collaborating with the Culture Centre of Leskolovo, the Vsevolozhsky district of the Leningrad region, where the ensemble is based in, for many years. The Roma folk ensemble was created in 1998, already in 2001, the artists received the title of an “Exemplary Children’s Group”, and every year since, they have continued to reaffirm this honorary status.
All throughout last year, materials about the group from the day of its creation have been gathered piece by piece and photo and video archives are currently being recreated. In October, the talented members of the group participated in an international competition and received the honorary title of “Laureate of the 3rd Degree.” The ensemble continues to expand and new, talented children are taking part in its creative activities.
