This testimony was documented in autumn 2025 in and around Odesa by an expert from ADC Memorial-Brussels. Some details were confirmed in an interview in the Odesa region by our colleagues at the Winds of Change Charitable Foundation.
The testimony reflects the tragedy of a family affected by the crimes of the Russian army. It testifies to violations of children’s rights and to the vulnerability of groups that face discrimination, particularly the Roma population. Phabai (whose name has been changed) is the mother of eight children.
